DreamDrive Pro
•New feature: Curb Rash Alert notifies you if there is a risk of scraping a wheel against a curb.
NOTE: While driving below 6 mph (10km/h), this feature provides distance information, highlights the wheel’s predicted path, and sounds an audible alert if there is a risk of scraping a wheel on a curb. You are still responsible for steering and applying brakes.
NOTE: Curb Rash Alert is automatically deactivated at night or in low light conditions.
NOTE: Curb Rash Alert does not trigger any braking intervention. The driver is responsible to monitor the surroundings and react to avoid damage.
NOTE: Curb Rash Alert may not detect all curbs or other obstacles that can scrape your tires, and should not be relied upon completely to avoid tire and wheel damage. Refer to your Owner's Manual for additional information.
Navigation
•The system now displays traffic lights and stop sign indicators on the map when a route is active. NOTE: The vehicle requires a stable cellular connection for this feature to function.
•The icon to mute or unmute the navigation instructions is now always visible, allowing you to easily check the status.
•We have simplified the audio instructions for navigation situations where the next step is simply to continue when a road changes name, or instructions to join a highway at the end of a highway on-ramp.
Charging
•We improved the reliability of the Electrify America Plug&Charge user experience.
•We improved the scheduled charging function so that it no longer needs to be re-selected if the vehicle is unplugged and plugged in again before a scheduled session starts.
Sound System Enhancements
•Low listening-level sound quality improvement.
•Improvements to the volume adjustment controls so it is easier to adjust exactly the way you like.
•Next Generation Surreal Sound Pro Premium Audio System: On equipped vehicles, you can now enjoy improved bass response, more accurate music reproduction, and better system performance overall, thanks to our biggest Surreal Sound Pro system update yet.
NOTE: For some vehicles, a minor adjustment to the vehicle's audio hardware is required to activate the next-generation Surreal Sound Pro. We are offering this upgrade free of charge. You should receive an email with more information about whether your vehicle should be scheduled for a brief service appointment. If you still have questions, contact Lucid Customer Care.
Additional Enhancements
•Lucid Assistant now recognizes German.
•Regenerative braking now includes an "Off" setting, which will default back to "Standard" when the vehicle restarts.
•The power-closing function for the trunk is now smoother.
New Features for Canadian Customers with DreamDrive Pro
•Lane Change Assist
This feature enables automated lane changes when Highway Assist is active. When a dashed line appears adjacent to the lane of travel on the display, briefly hold the turn signal lever to activate and the lane change will be automatically completed in the direction of the turn signal.
Lane Change Assist can be disabled in the DreamDrive menu within Settings.
Before the first use, Lane Change Assist requires a period of driving in the middle lane on a multi-lane highway before it can be activated, for calibration purposes. The calibration is complete when a dashed line appears between lanes.
NOTE: Lane Change Assist is a driver assistance feature. You are responsible for the driving task, including ensuring that it is safe to change lanes prior to doing so and monitoring the surrounding traffic throughout the lane change maneuver.
•Active Curve Speed Control
This feature detects the road's curvature and reduces the vehicle speed when appropriate while Highway Assist is active.
•Extended Stop and Go
In heavy stop-and-go traffic the auto-resume functionality for drive assist has been enhanced.
Your vehicle will now resume traveling after stopping in traffic as long as the driver monitoring system detects the driver is looking ahead.

Once the sensors are calibrated and Lane Change Assist is ready, a dashed line will appear next to the lane of travel on the display while driving on highways.
NOTE: This feature is available in the United States only. Lane Change Assist is a driver assistance feature, and the driver remains responsible for the driving task, including ensuring that it is safe to change lanes prior to doing so and monitoring the surrounding traffic throughout the lane change maneuver.
Highway Assist
In vehicles equipped with DreamDrive Pro, Highway Assist helps the driver maintain the vehicle's position within the center of the lane and a constant distance from the vehicle in front. The driver is required to keep their hands on the steering wheel.

To remove a key, tap Remove and follow the prompts.
PILOT PANEL: We've updated your Pilot Panel settings and provided the option to turn the display off. To access your new Pilot Panel settings, tap the arrow at the bottom of the display. You can tap Turn Off to dim the display, or Retract to stow it. To turn the Pilot Panel back on, simply tap anywhere on the display.
MEDIA: You can now use a USB flash drive to play music in your Lucid Air. OVERVIEW: With this update, we're launching Highway Assist, our newest DreamDrive feature. We're also enhancing another driver assistance feature and delivering improvements to your vehicle's sensors for better DreamDrive performance. Before beginning this update, make sure your vehicle is not plugged in.
HIGHWAY ASSIST: Introducing Highway Assist, the newest DreamDrive feature in your Lucid Air. Highway Assist takes Lucid's assisted driving features to the next level and harnesses Lucid's proprietary ADAS technology to assist with highway driving. Highway Assist utilizes your vehicle's front cameras and sensor array to help you steer and actively center your Lucid Air in the driving lane. It also helps adjust your speed to maintain a safe following distance from the vehicles in front of you. Once this update completes, Highway Assist will be automatically enabled on your vehicle. Before you can begin using Highway Assist, you will need to allow time for your vehicle's sensors to calibrate, To calibrate the sensors, activate Adaptive Cruise Control and drive for at least 30 minutes on straight highways. Once the sensors are calibrated and Highway Assist is ready to activate, you will see a steering wheel icon on the Glass Cockpit to the left of the speedometer. Depending on road and traffic conditions, you may need to drive longer than 30 minutes. In the meantime, Adaptive Cruise Control will still be available. To use Highway Assist, start by pressing the DreamDrive button. On supported highways, the system will default to enabling Highway Assist. Once enabled, press the Set button to activate it. You will hear a chime, and the words Highway Assist will appear at the top of the center Cockpit Panel. You can switch between Highway Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control by pressing and holding the DreamDrive button. Highway Assist is only available on supported highways. When Highway Assist isn't available, the steering wheel icon will not appear, and your vehicle will remain in Adaptive Cruise Control. If you are driving on a road with Highway Assist and the feature becomes unavailable, it will automatically deactivate, and the system will alert you to take control. On highways with tight curves, assisted steering may be limited, and the system will alert you to steer manually until the feature reactivates. OVERVIEW: With this update, we're delivering hundreds of updates and improvements to your vehicle.
You will notice an even better experience from the moment you power on until you lock your Lucid for the night. We're updating your displays, the Navigation and Media apps, your key fob, exterior lights, Safety & Security features, and more.
Before beginning this update, make sure your vehicle is not plugged in.
Before beginning this update, make sure your key fob is in the vehicle and that it remains in the vehicle for the duration of the update. Your vehicle will be locked after this update completes. If your key fob is the primary way you access your vehicle, make sure you're prepared to unlock your doors using your Mobile Key via the Lucid mobile app or the Lucid key card.
DISPLAYS: The first thing you'll notice after completing this update is how much faster your displays power on. We've made major improvements that allow the Glass Cockpit and Pilot Panel to turn on much more quickly, going from O to ready in as little as 5 seconds so you can go on your way faster.
COCKPIT PANEL: The next thing you'll notice is the new layout of the Cockpit Panel. We've updated the right
Cockpit Panel to make the controls for your most used apps more ergonomic. You can now find your Home, Navigation, Media, and Phone shortcuts within easy reach just to the right of the steering wheel. We've also optimized the Status Bar to accommodate this new layout.
On the left Cockpit Panel, we've replaced the Window Lock button with a button to open and close the front trunk.
We're also introducing De-Ice Mode-just in time for winter. De-Ice Mode combines defrost, automatic wiper blade movement, and wiper fluid to clear ice that may be obstructing your view from your windshield.

New De-Ice Mode combines defrost, automatic wiper blade movement, and wiper fluid to clear ice that may be obstructing the view through the windshield.
NAVIGATION: We’ve made a series of enhancements and improvements to upgrade your Navigation experience in your Lucid Air.
We've updated our maps to improve how they represent the current position of your vehicle.
Now the arrow icon indicating your current position moves across the map just a smoothly as your vehicle floats over the road.
We've added turn-by-turn guidance to the center Cockpit Panel, allowing you to switch apps on the right Cockpit Panel without losing your directions.
This new Navigation widget will display to the right of the speedometer whenever you have an active route. It will show your next turn with an arrow indicating the direction and turning lane, the exit number and destination, and the road number. The following turn will also be queued up at the bottom of the widget to help you anticipate and maneuver accordingly.
If you're searching for a route and there aren't enough fast chargers along the way to reach your destination, Navigation will now notify you before you start, so you can reroute or plan to charge somewhere else.
Your estimated energy level can change due to a variety of factors, including exterior temperature, using your climate controls, and more. If you're driving an EV-optimized route and your current estimated energy level might no longer get you to your destination, Navigation will automatically recommend that you recalculate your route to find closer charging stations so you don't run out of charge. We've also improved how your Lucid calculates energy consumption based on your unique vehicle configuration for more accurate charging stop suggestions and estimated charging times.
HOMELINK: As you approach your programmed Home Link® garage door or gate, your vehicle automatically prompts you to activate it. We've adjusted when the HomeLink® notification appears on the Glass Cockpit so it's likelier you're already in range and can open your garage door with a single tap.
PRECONDITIONING: When your battery is very cold, it might not be able to receive a charge immediately when you first plug in. We've added a notification to tell you when this has happened and that your battery temperature is being optimized, with an estimate of the total time to both precondition and charge your battery.
ALEXA BUILT-IN: You can now use Alexa Built-In to turn your rear climate on or off with a simple voice command.
Simply say, 'Alexa, turn on/off rear climate!'
MEDIA: We've upgraded your Media experience with improvements to the media app interface and several third-party listening experiences.
We've fine-tuned the Dolby Atmos functionality in Tidal and increased the responsiveness of Pocket Casts. We've also created a more user-friendly browsing experience by fitting more selectable items into each list or grid view, allowing you to see your options more easily. select your favorite tunes faster, and start listening.
ADDITIONAL INFOTAINMENT UPDATES: We’ve updated your vehicle notifications and error messages to be more user-friendly.
We've added text to the Face Login toggle to let you know what the feature does and to decide whether to enable it.
We've added a notification to let you know your vehicle will go to sleep due to inactivity and give you the chance to keep the vehicle powered on.
DOORS & KEYS: Your Lucid Air can detect your presence using your key fob or Mobile Key and automatically lock and unlock your doors. We've improved the reliability of all your entry devices so they lock and unlock your vehicle as expected.
We’ve also modified the distance your key fob or Mobile Key must be from your vehicle to activate your locks. When you are walking away from your vehicle, the doors will lock behind you earlier than before, giving you peace of mind that your vehicle is secure.
Finally, your key fob will now go to sleep when you aren't using it to extend its battery life. This will allow you to use your key fob for considerably longer, depending on how frequently you use it as your primary access device, without having to replace the battery.
TOW & BREAK-IN ALERT: It’s important to know your vehicle is secure, even if it's still in sight. We've improved your Tow & Break-In Alert to arm whenever your vehicle is locked, even if your paired key fob or Mobile Key is in range.
We've also updated the audio and visual alerts to last for 30 seconds. If the alerts time out after 30 seconds and are re-triggered, they will go off a total of 5 times before the audio alert goes silent. Even if you can't hear an alarm, the feature is still working and you will continue to receive push notifications until you deactivate it.
ADVANCED FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (EU and KSA only): Your Lucid Air now features an Advanced Front Lighting System. This system uses the vehicle's cameras and speed to detect both the type of road you're on and current driving conditions and adjusts your low beams accordingly for better visibility.
For example, your vehicle can identify when you're on a country road and adjust your lights to better illuminate the shoulder. It can also detect when you're on a highway and illuminate farther ahead. It adapts the beam level and brightness to adverse weather to help you see better when driving conditions aren't optimal. To enable the Advanced Front Lighting System, simply set your headlights to AUTO.
AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHT LEVELING: Depending on how many passengers are riding with you, the weight of the cargo you're carrying, the way you drive, and even the slope of the road, your headlights might point farther up or down than they are designed to.
We've enabled sensors that measure the height and angle of your vehicle in relation to the ground to determine whether the beam is at the correct level and adjust it automatically to properly illuminate the road ahead.
LOW BEAM CORNERING: It can be difficult to see whether there are obstacles in your path when making turns at low speeds or at stop signs. Now when you activate your turn signal and start to turn the wheel, your headlights will adjust to illuminate the area you're turning into, showing the way and giving you better visibility. This complements our bending headlights feature, which illuminates around curves at higher speeds.
HIGH BEAM ASSIST: Introducing High Beam Assist, which uses your vehicle's front camera to detect other vehicles and automatically switch to low beams to avoid blinding oncoming traffic and vehicles driving in front of you. High Beam Assist can also detect other sources of light, such as street lights, and automatically switch to low beams when they are more appropriate for where you're driving.
To enable this feature, go to Vehicle Settings > Vehicle > Drive Settings and turn the High Beam Assist toggle on. To activate it, set your headlights to AUTO and turn your high beams on by pushing the stalk on the left side of the steering wheel away from you. A High Beam Assist indicator will display on the Glass Cockpit whenever the feature is active.
If High Beam Assist switches to low beams when you'd prefer to use high beams, push the left stalk away from you to switch to manual high beams. Pushing the stalk again will re-activate normal High Beam Assist.
Note this feature is only active at speeds over 18 mph.
REAR PEDESTRIAN COLLISION PROTECTION: We’ve improved Rear Pedestrian Collision Protection so that it's also enabled when your vehicle is in Drive, not just Reverse. If your vehicle rolls backward and detects pedestrians, regardless of the gear, it will warn you if there is a risk of collision and apply the brakes to avoid impact.
Rear Pedestrian Collision Protection may not detect all pedestrians in time to avoid collision.
Always check your surroundings.

Adaptive Cruise Control will be made available in your next over-the-air update (version 1.1.5). Before beginning this update, make sure your vehicle is not plugged in.
DREAMDRIVE PART 1: Technology is a trusted copilot, giving drivers eyes on all sides and helping them detect things their own eyes can't. This first DreamDrive update allows you to access several new features that harness the power of your Lucid Air's sensors and improves your experience whenever you're behind the wheel.
Your vehicle is capable of detecting objects in your path, including other vehicles, cyclists, or pedestrians. If the vehicle determines a collision is imminent, it will warn you, then initiate Automatic Emergency Braking to avoid or reduce the severity of impact. Note your vehicle may not detect stationary objects in time to avoid collision at certain speeds.
Cross Traffic Protection warns you if there is a risk of collision with another vehicle approaching from either direction, both in front of or behind you. It will initiate emergency braking if needed to avoid impact.
Lane Departure Protection helps keep your Lucid Air from unintentionally straying from the driving lane. It will alert you if it detects an unintended departure and initiate corrective steering if needed to bring your vehicle back into the lane.
Stopped in traffic? Traffic Drive-Off Alert will gently notify you if the vehicle in front of you has moved but yours has not.
Traffic Sign Recognition uses your Lucid Air's front camera to identify important road signs. It can notify you if the speed limit changes or if you're driving against traffic to help you follow the rules of the road.
You can learn more about each of these features in your digital Owner's Manual. None of these features are a replacement for attentive driving, and you are responsible for maintaining control of your vehicle.
ACCESS & PROFILES: Your Lucid Air features an unprecedented level of customization, with unique user profiles it can detect through a key fob, mobile device, and even facial recognition.
In this update, we fixed an issue that may have prevented users from being able to use their Lucid ID to log in to their vehicles.
We also made other minor enhancements and improvements to facial recognition, driver PINs, and profile settings.
NAVIGATION: In this update, we've made general interface enhancements and improvements for a smoother Navigation experience. We've also made it easier to search for additional stops or points of interest and add them to your route. Directions to a last-minute snack spot or rest area are now just a few taps away.
You can now also download individual maps by state, province, or territory for easier navigation in areas where your network connection might be spotty.
Finally, we've given you increased control over your personal data by making it easier to delete saved maps from the vehicle.
OVER-THE-AIR UPDATES: Software brings your vehicle to life, and software updates like this one are sent to your vehicle over the air.
We've improved the overall over-the-air update experience, as well as the clarity of the information we provide before you launch an update, so you know exactly what to expect. We also fixed an issue where an update might not have started as expected, so we can effectively deliver enhancements to make your Lucid even better.
